Gobble the Bubbles Meet @ Westside Silver Fins 11/22/08
The Pirates had a fun meet at Goodyear swimming 21 personal bests!
Congratulations to ourSwimmer of the Meet- Baillie for a job well done in her first meet!
Toko- 7/8 personal bests with an amazing 10.70 time drop in her 200 Free!
Tiffany- 2/3 personal bests with an incredible 22.98 time drop in her 500 Free!
Autumn- 4/5 personal bests with 3 first time events and 5 region cuts!
Erik- 5/6 personal bests with 3.40 time drop on his 100 Free!

Verde Valley Invitational August 2, 2008 PSTcompeted with 8 teams and a total of 274 swimmers last weekend in Cottonwood, AZ with Coach Luke's age group team. Several teams from central and northern Arizona participated.

ASG May Meet 5/17/08
PST competed in their first long-course meet of the season down in Glendale.
Sarah, Matt & Kurtis found that the competition helped get their minds off of their pending final exams and graduation ceremonies. Sarah took on the 100 Free and 100 Butterfly events, while Matt swam the 200 Free and Breaststrokes. Kurtis took on the 200 Backstroke, 100 Free and 100 Breaststroke taking 2 top finishes.

Beat the Heat June 6, 2008 @ NAU Flagstaff Pirates traveled to Flagstaff for a plunge in the 50 Meter Long Course pool at 7000 ft. Arrrgh, it was a mighty fine dip indeed! Sage conquered her first long course along with Autumn, who reached her regional Q in the 200M freestyle and 100M Freestyle!. Matt improved 3/6 events dropping 9 seconds off his 200M free. Sarah swam 2/4 personal bests dropping 5.5 seconds off her 100M Fly. Kurtis swam 5/8 personal bests dropping 5 seconds off his 200M Back & placing 4th for high points in the 15 and Overs! Erik earns swimmer of the meet for swimming 6/6 personal bests dropping a whopping 19 seconds off his 200M Free! Way to go me hearties! Special thanks to new swimmers Alexis & Michael for coming up to cheer on the team! Thank you Coach Cynthia for your encouragement & dedication!

Coach Luke Lerette and the PST Pirates cheer on their teammates during the 12 + Under medley relay. 15 Pirate swimmers took the plunge with the visiting Anthem Dolphins, swimming over 95 individual events and 4 relays. Gauchos Meet, Glendale AZ 12/07
AARRGH! It was a cold 34 degrees when the Pirates took to the Gaucho waters this past weekend! The shade canopies were crispy and the waters were steaming during "warm-ups". Pirate spirit was undoubtedly heard & shown all weekend. Pirates competed with 13 other teams and scored big points for PST! Congratulations to TIFFANY for swimming her 1st 10 and under 500 Free with a time 1 second shy of the AZQ (1st). TOKO took 16 seconds off her 500 (2nd).
Overall the Pirates acheived Personal best times in 38/43 events with 27 top finishes.
Great job Matt, Stephanie, Erik, Dayton, Sarah, Kurtis, Toko, Tiffany & Coach Luke.
